10 acres of privately owned semi-ancient broadleaved woodland for you to enjoy

We love walking in our own private woods and are very happy to share it with you. It’s a real luxury to be able to walk amongst the trees, listening to all the wonderful noises and breathing in the gorgeous smells... you can almost feel your blood pressure dropping!

To explore the woods there is a circular loop that takes you from the cabin around the woodland, we ask guests to please stick to the path. We’ve added a swing to the beautiful beech tree close to the cabin, which is the perfect bit of silliness! G&T point is at the far end of the woods and an ideal spot to watch the sun go down, whilst honing your outdoor cooking skills on the fire pit. You can even try a spot of Forest Bathing (Shinrin Yoku), the art of Japanese relaxation in woodlands.

Wow what a place! Thank you so much for letting us share a bit of your magical woodland playground. We only wish we had longer here. In Welsh, we would say 'Lle i enaid gael llonydd' - a place for the soul to rest - and that, it certainly is. We cannot wait to return. Diolch ynfawr.

What an amazing place! We had an incredible time! It was really nice to relax and listen to the sounds of the birds and the rain. We enjoyed the wood burner and looking out of the big round window towards the woods. The swing was great too! And the starry night! It was a dreamy getaway and we hope to come back again.

Our stay at the Forager's Cabin has been truly magical. The ideal setting to slow down and enjoy the simple pleasures in life. The countryside is breathtaking and we enjoyed the most stunning walks. The cabin is beautifully designed, every detail has been thought of. The baked treats were delicious, the bed divine, the outdoor area dreamy; the list could go on! Thank you so much.

What a lovely place to come to relax and get away from life's worries. The hosts - Sophia & Pete - are very relaxed and nothing is too much trouble. We took a little trip to Snowdonia for a walk - The Precipice Walk - on a clear day it was simply stunning!

Thank you for providing us a wonderful weekend away from the city! The hot tub with candles and the fairy lights was particularly special. The G&T spot was also one we loved! The cabin was spotless and I loved the touch of the bookcase! Thank you.
